Isai gets trimmed
Feb 2, 2015 JB
S J Suryah’s Isai hit the screens on 30th January and is receiving good responses from the audience and critics alike. The film about what jealousy could do to an established music director and the conflicts between him and his student have been well captured.
Isai’s duration when it was released was more than one hundred and eighty minutes which the audience found it very long and tedious. This was a unanimous opinion and heeding to this the makers have now cut seven minutes of the film.
Earlier also, films like Anjaan and Lingaa, after getting the audience’s response, have been trimmed and Isai also has followed suit. Isai has S J Suryah debuting as a music director and he also plays the lead role, apart from directing it. The film has a new import from north Savithri as the heroine.
