Interesting updates on Vijay 62

The much awaited official announcement on Vijay’s 62nd film is out. Producers Sun Pictures officially announced about this project, with a tweet, "Sun TV is happy to announce #Vijay62withSunPictures #ActorVijay #ARMurugadoss".

Hence, it is now official that Vijay's 62nd film with Murugadoss will be produced by Kalanithi Maran for Sun Pictures. Earlier on, they had bankrolled the much successful Enthiran directed by Shankar. This film also marks the first time association of Sun Pictures with Vijay and Murugadoss. And this will be the third time that Vijay and Murugadoss will be working together after Thuppakki and Kaththi. The film will go on the floors in January next year and the filmmakers have plans to release for Deepavali 2018.

According to reports, Oscar winner AR Rahman may come on board for the project. Santhanam, the much-acclaimed art director will be taking care of set designs while Girish Gangadharan is the confirmed one for cinematography department. Sreekar Prasad is in talks for editing while Keerthy Suresh appears to be the top contender for the heroine’s post. An official confirmation is awaited on the same.
