I directed by Shankar features Vikram and Amy Jackson and the film’s trailer that was released recently is creating and breaking a lot of records in terms of the number of views in the virtual world.

Recently the film went for censor certification and the film has been awarded U/A certificate and now the team is vying for a U certificate as it would give them 30% tax rebate. As per sources closer to the film, the team is in talks with the Censor authorities on what they should do to get a U certification. In case their attempts fail at this stage, the team is planning to appeal to the higher tribunal.

It is said that the scenes involving the hunchback Vikram after interval block appear to be scare inducing and that’s the reason the U/A for the film. Earlier the film was slated to release on 9th January 2015 but is later postponed to 15th January.
