Sushant’s espionage thriller - ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’, had created quite a stir with its first look poster, however, now it is reported that apparently SSR has allotted the dates that he had given to ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’ to his old friend Abhishek Kapoor for ‘Kedarnath,’ because of which the film has been pushed ahead.
Abhishek Kapoor had launched Sushant in ‘Kai Po Che’ and all was not well between the actor-director, when Sushant was not able to do his ‘Fitoor’ due to unavailability of dates. But now they have patched up, and allegedly Sushant didn’t want to upset the director again so he gave his dates to ‘Kedarnath’ instead.
Talking about it ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’ producer Bunty Walia said, “‘Romeo Akbar Walter’ is not shelved as yet. The dates may get shifted to accommodate ‘Kedarnath.’ Why would ‘Romeo Akbar Walter be shelved?’ It’s a great script and the project is backed by a big business house. There is no shortage of funds, so no reason to not do the film, unless we ourselves decide to pull the plug after the dates are shifted.”
Currently, Sushant is in the US preparing for his next with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and R Madhavan titled 'Chanda Mama Door Ke'.
