Gopi Nainar on Ranjith's tweet

Gopi Nainar’s debut directorial Aramm starring Nayanthara is getting all the appreciation and recently director Pa Ranjith had tweeted, “Happy that Aramm has won. Teach and protest together. Thanks and congratulations to the director, film unit and thozhar Nayanthara.”

Netizens started trolling Ranjith as he had mentioned Gopi Nainar’s name in the tweet. Also, he has been criticized for addressing heroine Nayanthara as ‘Thozhar’. It can be recalled that Gopi Nainar had mentioned that the story of Ranjith’s directorial Madras was actually his script Karuppar Nagaram but neither of them had come out, talking about this.

Gopi, has now issued a statement, asking people “not to hurt anyone”. The statement adds that Gopi and Ranjith share a friendly relationship, and that he believes they can make society better if they are united.
