Gayathrie in Aneedhi Kadhaigal

Gayathrie who shot to fame with Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom co-starring Vijay Sethupathi is awaiting her next release Puriyadha Pudhir tomorrow, the 1st September.

She has also been roped into Thyagarajan Kumararaja’s Aneedhi Kadhaigal that features Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha, Fahadh Faasil and others. This film is the second directorial for Kumararaja after his critically acclaimed film Aaranya Kaandam.

Elaborating on this, Gayathrie says, “I am paired opposite Vijay Sethupathi in the film and I play an urban, lower middle-class girl. I got the offer during the Puriyaadha Pudhir promotions. I couldn’t say ‘no’ when Kumararaja approached me for the role. I didn’t even have auditions. I will begin shooting from the 10th of September”.

As regards her other projects, Gayathrie has completed Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren and she is doing a cameo in Balaji Tharaneetharan’s Seethakaadhi besides working as an assistant director in the film. Click the Movie button below for more info:
