Filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar's next titled 'Godse'

Director Mahesh Manjrekar announced his new film, titled 'Godse', on Saturday. The film is based on Nathuram Godse, the man who was behind the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, October 2, producer Sandeep Singh announced joining hands with Mahesh Manjrekar and Raaj Shaandilyaa for their upcoming film. The film will be produced by Sandeep Singh’s production house Legend Global Studio and Raaj Shaandilyaa's production house, ThinkInk Picturez.

"The Deadliest Birthday wish ever! Get ready to witness a story no one dared to tell before! Sandeep Singh, Raaj Shaandilyaa and Mahesh Manjrekar announce a film “Godse” on Mahatma Gandhi’s 152nd birth anniversary. The story of Nathuram Godse has always been close to my heart," Manjrekar tweeted.

The cast of the film has not been decided yet as the scripting of the film is currently going on. 'Godse' is expected to go on floors in the second half of 2022. Click the Movie button below for more info:
