Director Shankar apologizes to press after a police complaint

Director Shankar was shooting for his film 2.0 aka Enthiran 2 at the Triplicane area in Chennai yesterday (22nd March) when two photojournalists from English daily had an altercation with some crew members.

Apparently, the crew had blocked a street for people and when the journos questioned this and asked if the crew had prior permission, it ended in an altercation which resulted in the journalists filing a complaint at the Ice House police station.

When Shankar came to know of this, he immediately left for the Press Club office in Chennai, met the press and offered his apology. He expressed his regret over the incident and ensured that such things will not happen in future. Since Shankar himself came forward and expressed his apologies, the journos withdrew their complaint and the case was withdrawn. Click the Movie button below for more info:
