Director Nalan Kumarasamy does a cameo in Mani Seiyon's film

Director Nalan Kumarasamy’s recent film was Kaadhalum Kadandhu Pogum featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Madonna Sebastian. He will now be seen in a cameo role in director Mani Seiyon’s film that has Sibi Raj and Aishwarya Rajesh, The film is yet to be titled but is almost on the verge of being completed. Another 10 days’ work is left to be called a wrap.

The director reveals that Nalan has played a fish doctor in the film. He adds, “Nalan has done a cameo in our film. He plays a veterinary doctor. To be specific, he plays a fish doctor. He shot for a day for his part in the film. He appears in an important scene just before the climax.”

Mani adds that he was keen about having a well-known personailty to play the character and hence considered director Nalan. “We thought we would ask him and he got back to us saying that he found the part interesting and would like to play the role.”
