Director J Mahendran plays himself in Boomerang

Boomerang, directed by R Kannan went on floors few months ago. The film features Atharvaa in the lead with ENPT fame Megha Akash, Induja of Mercury fame, Bollywood actor Upen Patel and RJ Balaji in important roles.

With the TFPC strike now over, the makers have resumed shooting for the film at full swing. The latest information about the project is that veteran director J Mahendran has been roped in for a special appearance. Reportedly, he will be playing himself in the film, and his portions will be shot by the end of this week.

As per reports, Sixty per cent of the film shooting is over. On Monday, the unit shot at Semmozhi Poonga, and now, they are shooting at Futbol Sala in Valasaravakkam. This schedule will go on till May 22 and after which the crew will be heading to Hyderabad and Rameswaram. The final schedule will happen in Chennai. Click the Movie button below for more info:
