Dhanush to sing for Vijay Yesudas in Padai Veeran

Vijay Yesudas, son of legendary singer KJ Yesudas had made his screen debut in Dhanush’s Maari. The friendship that Dhanush and Vijay Yesudas share is well known in the industry circles.

Now, after a gap of two years, Vijay has turned a hero with a movie titled Padai Veeran, which is set in the rural backdrop of Theni. The film is directed by debutant Dhana who assisted Mani Ratnam. Newbie Amritha is the heroine. Director Bharathi Raja also plays an important role in the film. Karthik Raja composes the soundtrack for the project.

In this film, Dhanush has sung the final track of the album named “Local Sarakka Foreign Sarakka”. The song is said to be a fun, folksy song with lyrics by Priyan. Incidentally, Dhanush who had seen the finished portion of the film was keen to contribute something to the film and had requested the team to add a song.
