Dhanush thanks Rajkiran

National Award winning actor Dhanush is making his foray into direction through Power Paandi where Rajkiran is playing an important role. Yesterday, the team released their trailer amidst the presence of many celebrities.

Dhanush rendered a lengthy speech on the occasion and some excerpts from it are here. “Rajkiran sir is a boon for the film. He did not even listen to the script but straight away accepted to do the film. I thank him for believing in me. It has been more than one and a half years since I wrote Power Paandi script, but only when Rajkiran came on board, the script became complete.

Revathi ma'am is a very big asset for the film. Apart from being an actor, she is also a director, which helped me in narrating the scenes to her. Prasanna had a blind faith and worked in the film.
