'Dhadak' set to release on July 20

The film, “Dhadak”, which marks the debut of the late actress Sreedevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor, will hit the screens on July 20. Karan Johar, the producer of “Dhadak,” released a new poster of the film starring Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor on his Twitter page on Thursday.

“Trailer coming shortly!!!!!! The magic of immortal love begins......presenting JANHVI and ISHAAN !!!!! @ShashankKhaitan film releases 20th JULY 2018,” he tweeted.

Ishaan is actor Shahid Kapoor’s brother, who was recently seen in Iranian director Majid Majidi’s “Beyond The Clouds.”

“Dhadak” is an official remake of the hit-Marathi movie “Sairat” directed by Nagraj Manjule. The Hindi remake is being helmed by Shashank Khaitan, previously known for directing “Badrinath Ki Dulhania.”
