Deepika Padukone in Shah Rukh Khan's next film

Without a doubt the ‘Om Shanti Om’ jodi of Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most adored onscreen pairing of recent times. While both the actors are busy with their respective work, their fans can finally rejoice that the duo will be seen together onscreen soon, but only briefly.

Deepika Padukone, who is now awaiting the release of her next film ‘Padmavati’, recently confirmed that she has shot for a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Anand L Rai’s next movie.

Deepika confirmed the news to a daily news channel. She said, “It’s a cameo and it was fun. Shah Rukh just called me up and said that they wanted to do something special and it happened. Just a call took place. Literally, he just called me and I think in a couple of days we shot. It was so much fun. None of us felt like we were working. It was like a couple of friends catching up.”

In the film, SRK plays the role of a dwarf and the film also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead.
