Dangal girl Fatima Sana Shaikh's next will also be with a Khan

After wowing us with her stellar performance in Dangal, it is now reported that Fatima Sana Shaikh has been roped in as one of the lead actresses for Nikkhil Advani’s Baazaar, which also stars Saif Ali Khan.

Set against the backdrop of a stock market, Baazaar is said to be a thriller starring Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. While Nimrat Kaur is paired opposite Saif, Fatima will be paired opposite Vinod Mehra’s son Rohan Mehra.

Apparently, Nikkhil had loved Fatima in Dangal and was looking forward to work with her. And when he was casting for Baazaar he felt that Fatima would be brilliant in a thriller like this.

“The casting is done. Saif plays the older hero while Rohan plays the younger parallel lead. Arjun Kapoor was approached for it, but he didn’t have the dates,” a source close to the film revealed to a daily newspaper.

Even before the film has gone on the floors, Baazaar is already caught in a web of controversies. First, there were rumours that claimed that Balaji Motion Pictures, who were initially planning to produce the film had walked out of the film. However, soon after, Emmay Productions released a statement talking about the two of them parting ways amicably. They went on to add that Baazaar will go on floor soon and they will be making an official announcement on the cast soon.
