‘Crazy' Mohan is no more

Actor-writer ‘Crazy’ Mohan, who is also a prominent theatre figure, died in Chennai on Monday following a heart attack. He was 67.
Born in 1952, as Mohan Rangachari, ‘Crazy’ was an epithet that he acquired after his popular play ‘Crazy Thieves in Palavakkam.’
His first film was K. Balachander's ‘Poikkal Kudhirai’ as dialogue writer. His films include ‘Aboorva Sagodharargal’, ‘Michael Madana Kama Rajan’, ‘Sathi Leelavathi’, ‘Thenali’, ‘Panchathanthiram’, ‘Kadhala Kadhala’, ‘Avvai Shanmugi’, ‘Vasool Raja MBBS’ and ‘Pammal K Sambantham’.
