Cheran postpones his plan

Director Cheran had made a film tiled JK Ennum Nanbanin Vaazhkai with Sarwanand and Nithya Menon in the leads. The film was to be released last year but it was not, due to various issues.

Later Cheran came up with a plan of Cinema to Home through which he would be releasing the DVDs of the film simultaneously on the day of release in theatres too. This scheme was to begin on the 15th of January on the Pongal day. However, the plan has been postponed for now.

Talking about this, Cheran says, “I have started the Cinema to Home scheme to benefit the film industry and the small time producers. I had worked for this for the past one year and brought 156 distributors and 5000 dealers under this scheme. Now theatre owners and distributors who have understood the scenario of Tamil films have also come forwards to take a decision on this.
