Chennai 28 sequel soon

Chennai 28 directed by Venkat Prabhu released in 2007 was a kind of cult film that appealed to everybody. The film about gully cricket had a bunch of youngsters playing cricket and their lives.

Now it is reported that the film will have its sequel and it will be director Venkat Prabhu's next outing. The director plans to work with the same gang of boys with whom he worked in Chennai 28, Shiva, Jai, Nitin Sathya, Premgi and Vijay Vasanth, once again.

Venkat had apparently narrated the story to the boys and the team is kicked about the sequel's storyline. The team will start shooting from March. After working with top stars like Ajith, Suriya and Karthi in his last three films, Venkat Prabhu will be back with the gang of boys he is comfortable working with. While the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be decided, Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music. Click the Movie button below for more info:
