Aditya Chopra

Aditya Chopra is an Indian filmmaker. He is known for Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Mohabbatein, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Befikre as a director. He is also the head of his home production house Yash Raj Films. Chopra has written and produced a number of films under the banner such as Veer-Zaara, Fanaa, Band Baaja Baaraat, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, the Dhoom series, Sultan, the Tiger series and War. He has broken away from typecast through production of off-beat films such as Kabul Express, Chak De! India, Rocket Singh, Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Hichki!. Chopra is also the first to move towards a true film studio model through independent projects headed by talent under his banner. Major post-production work of the company is now carried out of YRF Studios, where Chopra serves as Chief Executive. He has produced eight films that have accumulated worldwide gross earnings of more than ?200 crore, which is the most for an Indian film producer.
