'Bhakta Kannappa' is a love story

Actor Sunil who recently bagged commercial success with Bhimavaram Bullodu is all set to start filming for his next "Bhakta Kannappa". However the actor says it is not based on mythology or a devotional subject. It is in circulation that the movie is a remake of Krishnam Raju's Bhakta Kannappa.

"Although the title of my film is inspired from the classic, ours is not a mythological story. I play a tribal character and it's a love story that unfolds against a rural backdrop. Director Bharani has promised to make it as entertaining as possible for satisfy my fans," Sunil told.

"Bhakta Kannappa" is expected to go on floors in the second week of May. This film will be second film of Writer turned director Tanikella Bharani.
