Baahubali smashes records on the opening day

Baahubali the magnum opus of director S S Rajamouli is a multilingual made in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and French. The film starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka, Tamannaah, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Nasser and others hit the screens on the 10th July to a thunderous response from the audience.

The film has been appreciated by the critics too and the mammoth efforts in the visual effects department have earned the accolades that the film well deserved. The story is about two warring princes for a kingdom who are also cousins. The version that was released was the first one and the second one is expected to release in 2016.

Baahubali was released in more than 4000 screens across India and overseas and it has broken quite a lot of records. It is said that the film had made around 76 crores on the opening day itself and is continuing to make more money. In US where there is a major chunk of Telugu speaking audience, the Telugu version of the film has made a gross of 3.35 million as on Saturday. Good going indeed!
