Arvind Akash to play a Marathi cop in Kaala

Rajinikanth’s Kaala whose shooting is underway in Mumbai has one more addition in the form of Arvind Akash who will be playing a Marathi cop by the name Sivaji Rao Gaikwad. Incidentally, this is Rajinikanth’s actual name in real life.

Very excited to be in the film, Arvind says, “I consider it as my blessing to be in Kaala with the one and only legendary Rajinikanth. And when my character name is that of the Superstar in real life, I am doubly happy. I have started shooting for the film but I am yet to meet my Thalaivar.”

Explaining how he got the role in the film, Arvind says, “I have known director Pa.Ranjith since the time he worked in Goa as an assistant to Venkat Prabhu.
