Arul Doss injured at Kaala sets

Actor Arul Doss who is known for his roles in films like Naan Mahan Alla, Papanasam, Neer Paravai, Soodhu Kavvum, Chathriyan and others is doing an important role in Kaala that has Superstar Rajinikanth as the lead and is directed by Ranjith.

Currently the film is being shot at EVP world at Nazerethpet at the outskirts of Chennai. Director Ranjith has created a set that looks like Mumbai's Dharavi where the unit is canning crucial sequences.

Arul Doss suffered minor fractures after a jeep ran over one of his legs at the shooting yesterday. Doctors diagnosed minor fractures at three fingers of his leg and advised rest. The crew members reported that Arul Doss didn't notice a speeding van approaching him and the vehicle ran over his left leg, leaving his three leg fingers injured. A paramedic at the shooting spot immediately attended to him. Later the actor was taken to a nearby private hospital. Arul Doss would be resting for a few days before he resumes work.
