Arjun Kapoor & Parineeti Chopra sign their third film together – Namastey Canada

Looks like the ‘Ishaqzaade’ jodi has suddenly become the most happening onscreen pair in Bollywood. Just a few weeks ago we reported that Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra would reunite for Dibakar Banerjee's movie ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’, which will be produced by Yash Raj Films.

And now it is reported that the duo has been roped in for Vipul Shah’s ‘Namastey Canada.’ While the title instantly reminds you of the 2007 hit – ‘Namastey London’, featuring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, director Vipul Shah asserts that it is not a sequel. Vipul said, “I want to set the record straight. ‘Namastey Canada’ is not a sequel to ‘Namastey London.’ I thank Akshay for standing by me and being graceful about sharing the title with me.”

He further added, “I'm also happy that Arjun and Parineeti agreed to join me on this journey. I hope this film becomes one of their best outings together.”

The Mubarakan actor too is thrilled to be a part of this film. Arjun said, “I'm excited to be a part of this project. After working with giants like Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar, he has chosen me. ‘Namastey Canada’ has heart and humour, making it a family entertainer.”

Parineeti said, “This is exactly the film I was looking for! It's a desi story with a videshi heart. I'm excited to be directed by Vipul sir with who I have shared an amazing friendship over the last few years.”

Well, we are definitely excited to see these two onscreen again.
