Another Kalasala from LR Easwari

Thollaikaatchi is an upcoming Tamil film whose songs were recorded recently by music director Dharan. Veteran playback singer Kalaimaamani LR Eshwari has sung a folk gaana under Na. Muthukumar’s lyrics.

It has to be recalled that LR Easwari has rendered her voice for the number Kalasala from the Simbu starrer Dharani directorial Osthe a few years ago. Talking about singing again a peppy number, LR Easwari said, “I loved the lyrics and the electrifying music of this song. This is going to be another KALASALA in Kollywood”. For this folk gaana, the crew has planned to make a massive set in the streets of temple town Kumbakonam.

This romantic comedy film is produced by Balasenthil Raja under Kayalaya Movies, and marks the directorial debut of Sadiq Khan who earlier assisted directors AR Murugadoss and N. Lingusamy. The film stars Ashwin Kakumanu and Janani Iyer in lead roles with Subbu Panchu, Konjam Nadinga Boss fame Aadhavan, Manobala and Mayilsamy playing supporting roles.
