Amaran sequel to begin

Amaran starring Karthik released in 1992 and recorded huge success. The film was directed by Rajeshwar and looks like the director-hero duo will team up once again to start work on Amaran 2.

Karthik was recently seen as a baddie in the Dhanush starrer Anegan and earned much praise. Amaran-2’s poster, which was released recently, has Karthik sporting a gangster-like look and smoking a cigarette — hoping to recreate the impact of its prequel.

About the film, Karthik says, “It would be an extravagant entertainment with a message. It would be shot at locales in London, Italy and Malaysia as well”. He also added that the script of Amaran warranted a sequel and there were proposals earlier to work on the sequel but it somehow materialized now. “Although it’s been a long gap between both the films, we thought it fit to work on the sequel now. For this film, I will give my best and besides acting, I will go on to sing in the movie as well,” he said. Click the Movie button below for more info:
