Akshay Kumar, Parineeti wrap up 'Kesari' shoot

Actors Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra have wrapped up the shoot for their upcoming film ‘Kesari’ in the Wai district of Maharashtra.

“@akshaykumar and @ParineetiChopra wrap their shoot for our proud film of one of the bravest battles ever fought !!!! #KESARI directed by @SinghAnurag79,” tweeted Karan Johar, who produces the film under his home banner Dharma Productions.

He also shared a photograph of both the actors from the film. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film will see Akshay playing a military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers named Havaldar Ishar Singh, who fought against thousands of Afghani invaders.

‘Kesari’ will release on March 21, 2019.
