Action director Veeru Devgan is dead

Veteran action director Veeru Devgan, father of actor Ajay Devgn, died in Mumbai on Monday afternoon at a hospital due to age-related issues. He was 85.

Apart from directing action sequences, he had directed the 1999 film ‘Hindustan Ki Kasam’, starring Ajay and Amitabh Bachchan. He had acted in a film titled ‘Kranti’ in 1981 along with Hema Malini.

The funeral was held at the Vile Parle West Crematorium, Mumbai on Monday evening. Devgan has choreographed action scenes in more than 80 films. His other son Anil Devgan is a director. Click the Movie button below for more info:
