A Venkatesh is the new DoP on Saamy Square

Saamy Square, which is the sequel of Saamy, began a few weeks ago. The film directed by Hari has Vikram, Keerthy Suresh and others. Trisha, who was a part of the film, opted out because of her role being diluted in the sequel and also due to creative differences.

The film was cinematographed by Priyan, who is a regular with Hari’s films. Since there was the unfortunate demise of him recently, the unit had to bring in a new DoP. This time around, it will be A Venkatesh, who has worked on films in Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil, is on board for the project.

It has to be noted that Venkatesh has earlier collaborated with Vikram on Gemini in 2002. It is also interesting that this is the third change in Saamy Square’s team, with Devi Sri Prasad earlier replacing Harris Jayaraj as the composer. Click the Movie button below for more info:
