'22 Yards' release announced

Sports journalist-turned-filmmaker Mitali Ghoshal’s film, ‘22 Yards’, is set to hit screens in February. The film, which is based on cricket, is her maiden movie. It will reach the cinemas on February 22.

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly launched the trailer of the film on Wednesday. The movie is a triumphant tale of two individuals, a cricket agent and a young cricketer, overcoming numerous barriers and winning the toughest battle of life against all odds.

Samrat has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. Barun Sobti plays the lead role of Ron Sen, while Panchi Bora will essay Sonali in the film, which will introduce Amartya Ray as Shome Ray.

Other main cast members include Rajit Kapur, Rajesh Sharma, Chaiti Ghoshal, Geetika Tyagi and Mrinal Mukherjee. Click the Movie button below for more info:
