'I postponed my film's release so that Baahubali can have its run', Mahesh Babu

Mahesh Babu, the most popular actor in Telugu films was in Chennai in connection with a promotional event of his film Srimanthudu dubbed as Selvandhan.



Talking at the event, Mahesh Babu said, “Selvandhan is a family drama. We have touched upon a number of emotional flash points that the Tamil audiences can relate to. The film also features a number of familiar Tamil faces and it has been shot in several places in Tamil Nadu. We hope it will work,” he said.


He further added that his film Selvandhan/Srimanthudu was supposed to be released on the 10th of July but he postponed it so that it did not clash with Rajamouli’s Baahubali. He said, “I felt such a big-budget film coming out from the Telugu industry must be supported. In the best interests of everyone, I thought it was best to release this film after Baahubali has had its run”. Click the Movie button below for more info:
